I gotta say as I read the words Gefilte Fish I had a rush of childhood memories. I was probably one of the few kids in our neighborhood that begged mom for a jar everytime we went to the store. Of course I was also the only kid that probably enjoyed a tongue sandwich from the Jewish deli, "The Miracle Mile", that I went to with my Grandma once every two weeks.
