“I was in New Orleans to start work on a series of portraits that hopefully one day will be a book.”
I have lived in NOLA for a life time. Seen many odd and different things during this life’s adventure. I had a dream to photography the world after attending Art Institute from 1991 to 1993. For you Mr Smith is it more rewarding to shoot/photography living objects or still objects without life yet are beautiful?

What a nice family.

One odd thing about Passover . . . for some reason, rather unconsciously, it seems that I remember in some way each one of the earlier sederim, including a few with the Smiths.

Zave, I love this reflection you wrote…”How nice it is that this night is but a little different from all other Passover Seders”. I gotta say as I read the words Gefilte Fish I had a rush of childhood memories. I was probably one of the few kids in our neighborhood that begged mom for a jar everytime we went to the store. Of course I was also the only kid that probably enjoyed a tongue sandwich from the Jewish deli, “The Miracle Mile”, that I went to with my Grandma once every two weeks. Man I looked forward to those days.

Wow. What a view. And what a building. That area at the top of the building…the dark square area…looks massive. Is that a patio area of sort? Hah, well, patio makes it sound small. Probably the size of an auditorium?

Zave - You’ve tightly summarised the current conditions of the commercial market very nicely here. When the SAA swiftly negotiated an acceptable set of T&C’s for GI’s $49 model I made a promise to myself to splash the cash and support the SAA … This blog entry has just reminded me of that.
